When Dr. Smith approached me about adding ultrasound to his practice I was thrilled. I love Dr. Smith's honest approach to patient care. The staff in this practice is wonderful. Dr. Smith has really put together a great team!
Gina M. Schuck, B.S., R.D.M.S was born and raised in upstate NY. Gina earned a field hockey scholarship to Kent State, Ohio, and graduated with a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology. After Kent, Gina was undecided on her future plans. She did a job shadow day with her sister Barbara Wright B.S. R.D.M.S. After watching one ultrasound of a 6-week fetus and seeing that little flicker of a heart beat she knew she "could do this forever." Gina enrolled in the Rochester Institute of Technology and earned a second bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. After graduation, Gina accepted a job at EMMC Radiology and drove to Maine. Gina has been a registered sonographer since 1996. After 7 years at EMMC, splitting time between radiology and Maternal Fetal Medicine(MFM), Gina joined an area MFM in private practice for 8 years.
Gina resides in Glenburn, Maine with her husband Tim and their two sons, Peter and Jack. Somewhere in between chasing the kids to soccer, skiing and baseball, Gina also has been the John Bapst field hockey coach for the last 15 years.
